Customizing logged items in Evo Live Map
I wanted to know if I understand customizing the MUT table correctly (jscbanks says you can log whatever you want as long as you put what you want somewhere in the first 64 MUT channels in the MUT table).
From what it seems, MUT 1-5 do not log anything (based on the tephra 5.10 9653006 ROM), they all seemed to be filled with default values in Evo Live Map. If I wanted to log WGDC which is MUT86 (above 64), then could I change MUT01's address to 8D23? 8D23 is the address in MUT86 currently.
Then if I logged MUT01 with the correct formula I would get WGDC at MUT01?
Also does the ECU read anything from the MUT table for functionality? In other words can we change any address in the MUT to whatever we want and have the ECU still function normally?
It's been so long since I've messed with this stuff I've forgotten.

If you are using LiveMap, then you can simply add your own custom MUT table to RAM. You can read my 96530706 thread on how to do that. Then you just setup the LiveMap app to log whatever variables you put in your custom MUT table.

Thanks for the reply, l2r99gst.
I researched your post some and I'm wondering something.
How did you get the start address of the RAM alt maps?
Is this posted somewhere?
I understand how to make the custom MUT table now.
Just to check though, the way you did it results in a table that's smaller than 40 entries right? (I know most people won't need 40)

For 96530706, the block of RAM starts at FFFF A000. So, you just find the offset from there, which was FFFF A740 for my RAM MUT table. But you can put it anywhere there is open space.
You can put as few or as many items as you like, as long as it fits in the open space. I don't think you need 40 items. I log about 17 or so right now.
