Inconsistent Logging Data
Inconsistent Logging Data
I am having problem determining why my logging data was inconsistent. I did 4 total logs in 3rd gear going from 2500rmp to 7600 rmp. The first 3 logs are very consistent, but the 4th log is what puzzled me. These logs are run back to back, modifications done to the car are: Blitze Turbo timer/boost gauge, PLX M300 Wideband logging from rear O2 Sensor, and stock intake cover removal. During the 4th run, I'm getting knocks all over the board and my AFR was leaner than the previous 3 runs. What could be the problem with the 4th run? Can anyone help regarding on tuning based on the logs. I know I need to retard the timing at 7000rpm @ 180 load by 2 degrees, but based on the last log, i don't know what to do.
first thing you can do, is place all of the data items being logged, next to each other, so you/we dont have to go back and forth so see the important data.
All you need at this point is, TPS/WGDC/BOOST or LOAD/AFR/KNOCK/TIMING/WGDCC.
Its difficult to even tell whats what, when you have 1 peice of the puzzle right infront of you, and the rest is all the way scrolled over to the right..
You can (R) click on any data log item and "edit" and from that screen, you can move the data log item's whereever you like.
Now, as far as your logs, my "guess" is you have a stock FMIC, and possibly heat soaked it, causing high IAT's...
