I have tephrs v.5 patch and want to switch to his 5.10 patch and i don't know if i have to delete his old patch in my xml file for 88590015 for it to work. I am still new to this so any info would be greatly appreciated.. I'm by no means computer savy but trying real hard to learn!! Thanks

The XML files are just a way for ECUFlash to show you the data in your ROM. XML files are not the patch. The patch is the data that is in the ROM....adding new XMLs does not patch your ROM, they just let you see what tephra has left as configurable in his patch.

The way tephra releases his patches is that he usually provides a pre-patched ROM for you. You download that along with the provided XML defs that he includes to read it. Then, you transfer over your settings (timing, fuel, idle, etc, etc) to that patched ROM.
