Since it's a closed-source, paid app, we'd need his express permission to include it.
He likes to keep the download links private, so I'm not sure he'd want it committed in the repository.

But by the same token, DataLogLab is a closed-source, paid app, but maybe you have express permission for that, and also the download link for DLL is public, so in that regard the SVN rep isn't really making anything available that isn't already publicly available.
No prob, just curious, and didn't want to upload it if Hamish didn't want it up there.

Realistically unless you have permission from the owners of said software it would be in the best interest of the owner of the SVN to keep that kind off stuff out of the system.

Incorrect, only one version ... fully functional version which is free to try for 30 days, after which you need to buy a software license to continue using it.
