Rear O2 and fuel triims

Do we need this to help with the fuel trims? I've seen where some people are having problems with them not moving. I know some vehicles have to have it hooked up to help the ECU with the trims....32bit Subaru's to name one.

Not sure about the rear but if you turn off the front o2 heater via perephery bits it disables the stft routine.

I watched someone re-install their rear 02 today. Their formerly stationary fuel trims are now functioning properly.

On a side note the car also runs MUCH better.
