So we are looking at 800Hz as an ideal set point for the High?

I don't know about "ideal."

Just glancing at the log posted it looks like 800Hz is roughly where a stock car will reach full load at a low RPM.

Well....800Hz it is then. I will put in 800 as the Mid -> High and 825 as the High -> Mid

Should be able to test it out here in the next few days.

I think you want them the other way around, mid-> high a higher value then the high -> mid value.

Interesting! Thanks, Appauldd. I will try this one also see if it gives me more consistent AFR during WOT. My mid LTFT is about 2%, and LS is on. It seems my AFR is changing ~0.2 depending on the weather. (Leaner when cold)

I really like this tweek. The car is much more consistant from pull to pull. I have mine set to 806 mid-high and 800 high-mid.

I went down to 600Hz.

It's just where my car with a stock turbo hits minimum boost (12 psi) at the lowest RPM (2800) using the SD patch.

Every car is going to be different as altitude will have HUGE impact on HZ readings.

03whitegsr,
So you are saying that by setting the mid-high crossover point to 800Hz we can effectively make the LTFT always float to 128 or 0 instead of increasing and affecting AFR. I have an issue where my LTFT are affecting my midrange by a full point. I am going to disable leanspool as well but wanted to see if changing the mid-high crossover point is a better solution.

Setting the 800Hz has made a huge difference in the consistency of the pulls in my car. I have LS enabled for the safety it offers.

Give this a shot....you won't be disappointed.

Do I just add the following text to my XML or do I need to add the rest of the BFPW code that is in the advanced fuel control thread?
Also do you set both to 800hz?
<table name="Closed Loop - LT Trim Control Ranges" category="Fuel" address="3021" type="2D" level="1" scaling="LT Trim Hz">
<table name="Conditions" type="Static Y Axis" elements="4">
<data>Low -> Mid</data>
<data>Mid -> Low</data>
<data>Mid -> High</data>
<data>High -> Mid</data>
</table>
</table>

Yes, just add that xml and then change the mid-high and high-mid. If you notice with the low, they are about a data set away from one another. Do the same with the mid-high. Make them not the same, but only one data set apart.

thanks for the thread.

When I open, <data>Low -> Mid</data>
<data>Mid -> Low</data>
<data>Mid -> High</data>
<data>High -> Mid</data>

mid/low, low/mid numbers are the same, what should they read?

If you get all entries the same you may have loaded the wrong rom.
