lc-1 install
I bought an lc-1 with an o-meter a while back from moates.net for my my turbo prelude. I never got a chance to install it and now i recently picked up an evo 8. When i was cleaning the carpet I found a few wires and a wideband sensor ran up through the floor so I was wanting to go ahead and install the lc-1. Apparently the previous owner had one installed and he took it out for some reason? After doing a bit of research on this site I have decided to go with evoscan. I was wondering how I should go about logging, tuning.
I have an ams 2.3 stroker kit, fp red, bov, and some upgraded piping as well as hks cams. I have future plans of e-85 and before i step up i want to get a pretty good understanding of tuning with out spending a lot of money. From my research I would think I already enough equipment so far i have an:
LC-1, O-METER, laptop Tactrix cable.
My main question is what is the best way to intsall the lc-1:
I have a six wires lc-1
red (12v) -hooked up the lighter
blue (heater) white (system)- tied together to the ecu ground
yellow & brown- (do nothing with)
black- with push button calibation and led this is were i get confused!?
Do i tie led and one side of the push button in with the grounds and the other side of the led and push button with the (black) calibration wire?
Do the led and push buttons have to be on separate grounds can i tie everything together with the blue and white?
Thanks!

Just finished putting mine in today
. The Led should have a red and black wire coming out of it. Now pick up the button and attach/soldier the black wire of the LED to one side of the button and the red side to the other. Now the two wires from the side that has the black wire from the LED gets grounded. The other two wires wich should have the red wire from the led connect to LC-1's Black Wire.
