does anyone have a correct xml? as few tables ,mainly BDEL look strange
or is it the 9base xml with incorrect values?
my xml , cant upload stock rom as it >100kb

 

evo9base_20081101 must be the inherits not evo9base

 

tried with both, is not that i can,t map the car even with that strange table, but i,d like to have it correct
do you have same xml?
does your stock bdel table look similar?

 

BDEL is fine for 88840017.
You don`t need to worry about it.
Don`t compare it with JDM BDEL because the boost control is totality different.

 

EDM 88840013,88840016 and 88840017 share the same setup for BDEL.

 

i know jdm set up as i own a jdm evo with twin solenoid, and the 88800016 i've modified was fine, 88840013 did't came across, but this 0017 maybe has some diffrent adresses than othe 0017 (which i doubt).
i would have liked to fine tune boost , to be linear and for driveability not so much increase it a lot in search of raw power as this car is completely stock and is a daily driver no drag car, and when you dont go for high target boost level you use a lot BDEL , which is totally oposed to maxing out bdel and playing with BCLO-as this is a single value

 

If you did for 88840016 and the results were ok than you can do it also for this ROM.
The values for BDEL (high gear) for VIII JDM can be tested also for this ROM.
Try to control it like this without changing the pills or installing a MBC.
If you don`t want to achieve high boost levels than go for it....
