I see you mentioned the word Colt Turbo there Hackish - is that going to be some good news for me?

Seems to be working great! I haven't gone WOT to confirm the AFRs haven't changed significantly (waiting on fuel relay), but 3/4 throttle is ok.

If HB doesn't see any adverse effects, I think you found it

I'll let you know if anything changes over the next little while, and I'll confirm WOT as soon as possible.

since it seems to work ok - I posted up the xml code in post #1 of my DTC Disable Thread...

as usual take the usual precautions when doing this (ie log AFR to make sure it hasn't changed)

If I am not misaken
P0421 - catalyst efficiency monitoring can be disabled by setting 503AF to 0
P0133 - O2 slow response monitoring can be disabled by setting 503AD to 0

This patern can be followed for all formerly known DTC periphery bits.
For X they have their own setting and they are not bitcoded anymore.

(53040010 - I guess any M32R ROM)

its different for different romid's i think.

that master DTC disable routine looks different for various romid's...

P0133 is for the front 02 anyways isn't it?

I would have to have a look, but my message is there are enable monitoring bytes for various DTC and at least in CT9A world the offset is fixed, I have crosschecked only those two and sequence of their execution is the same in CT9A.

Edit:
54550003,52350016 is the same
55570005, 55590006 is shifted 8 bytes

It's P0139 that I think people are getting. That's the Rear O2 Slow Response.

Is this confirmed as working tephra? I don't mind testing...but if you posted it I guess its confirmed by a bunch of people? I'm running MR ROM 21

Tephra (or anyone else who can help),

Can you confirm the process of disabling the rear02 sensor (P0420)?

I’ve been in the ECU_OPTIONS section, Which 'ECU Option set' is it?

Then which 'bit.#' is it?

I'm assuming that its changed from 1 to 0

I’ll see what other CELs pop up after

Thanks

Yep.

And verkion, it has been tested by a few GSRs... I don't know about MRs.

Well, now I know for sure E6-X didn't toast his ECU due to the P0139/P0420 bit toggle...I just toggled mine and my car is still fine. Hahahaha. I need to go through about 2-3 Engine on/off cycles before the P0139 is normally set. So I'll know by tomorrow whether it works on an MR!

Thanks Tephra, xPRimNT, acamus, colby, gunzo, ummm...and everyone else that makes Evo Tuning possible :-P (I feel like I'm at the Oscars...)
