How do you "shrink" the actual sizw of a displayed 3D map?

I want to shrink the size of my timing and fuel maps so that I can actually view them where I can see RPM and all load tables... I am running 96530706 and I saw when I loaded up 94170015V7, I was able to view the entire 3D table on my screen... I have a small *** sony and every time I have to adjust a map I have to move the map over every time to view which RPM row I am in... here is a comparison...

Either change monitor resolution or buy one more for dual monitor setup :P

Being able to shrink the maps would be very handy. You should submit that as a request for the next EcuFlash release.

Why does one map pull up large and another with the same number of RPM/LOAD display diferent if pulled up utilizing the same evo7 base? There has to be setting somewhere to adjust this...

Check the scalings for the two maps. You can get map columns to display larger or smaller depending on how the scaling is setup.

I did, there is nothing in that scalings that I see that actually defines how big the colums display... the scalings for RPM are both the same also...

Plus when you pull up the 94170015V7 fuel map it isn't displayed like the timing map it is off the screen like the rest of the V7 maps, which also throws the RPM scaling idea out... It has to be something in ECUflash that defines how a map is displayed...

You didn't look close enough, grasshopper.

Look at the max and min values for the timing scaling for your 94170015 and then for your 9653 ROM.

I would be willing to bet that one of them has their max/min set to -128/128 and one has it set to -61/61. If you change the other one to -61/61 and reopen the ROM, it will be a smaller map.

Eric, my bad, I was looking at the wrong row! Yes the 9417 timing scaling is set up to -55 & 55, the 9653 is set up -128 & 128 changed and fixed. Thank you sorry I doubted you However I can view the entire timing map now, I can't view the enire 3D fuel map... any suggestions?

I doubt you can do anything for fuel, because of the data in the table. Our 'AFR' values are xx.x, so 4 characters just need too much space and why the map is bigger than the timing map.

What's the max resolution on that netbook of yours? I'm thinking of getting one, since MY GIRLFRIEND's ****ty 15" is a pain to lug around, plus it gets about 40 minutes of battery. The netbook I'm looking at has a 1366 x 768 max display res.

1024x600 it's a 10.1" screen

I spent the money on the battery and got the 9cell over the 11.6" screen. 15 hours. I charge it about once a week.

The bigger screen would be nice though.

I changed the max display for RPM to 9999 to also save a tad bit of space since it is set for 11000, it let me view another row in the fuel map also

Would somebody mind throwing up a screenshot or typing an example xml so that I can see the changes. I've been drinking too much and have lost all analytical skills about 3 hours ago.
