They seem to be spot on but right now I'm having an issue with evoscan reading gauge readout. I'm going to try a better power and ground source to test my theory by wiring the positive and negative to the battery and log. If it works then I will move the source to ECU's power and ground
Just re-did the min/max in evoscan and the chart min/max also changed the scaling. On top of all of this I'm changing the Request to MUT12. I have entered this formula: 0.039216*x+10.5 and am going to give it a go as soon as wifey comes back from the Navy base.
Yeah, so I got the new formula in, I'm logging '3c', selected AEM Wideband (usb/wifi...), and I get relative information. The only problem is the value will jump around a bit. It's dead on and then it will say 11 for some reason and then back. When I throw some load in the mix it logs pretty normal. Any ideas? Is there a tighter formula perhaps?

I think whats more frustrating is the "stock ecu gurus" don't really help too much especially when you ask for assistance. I think i have pm'd all of them and one tuner who is a friend and nothing. I guess they are just too busy to help n00bs...smfh

Well I'm running a evo 8 and I have the same problem. I perform the instruction as per darkmitsu but my readout doesn't match the gauge. Where are you using power and ground for your gauge? I'm currently packing alot of she-it to move from NY to MIAMI so I don't have time to really test my theory and rewire my gauge but I'm going to my home shop on Thursday to do some work and tune a few evo's I'll see if my theory holds water.

For the EVO 8 it is pin 75 for the EVO 9 it's pin 73. What I did was cut the wire coming from pin 73 (75 for you). When you cut it make sure you have enough wire coming from the ECU to work with and likewise for the other end that feeds into the cable management 'hose'. I stripped the wire from the pin and crimped on a quick disconnect, female end. I then crimped a male quick connect to the other end coming from the factory sensor. I then crimped a male end onto the White wire coming from the UEGO. This way I could go back to stock configuration if I had to.
Next I went into the ECU and did a delete patch and heater sim patch to kill the cell. After that I fired up ECUFlash and sent the new ROM to the EVO. Lastly, I got EvoScan online and edited the WB02 entry to reflect exactly what DarkMitsu posted. The catch was selecting the last listing for AEM UEGO (usb/wifi...) in the top of the EvoScan window and selected the COM 4 port. Make sure your 1.3 or 2.0 Tactrix is plugged into the laptop when you go to select your UEGO and COM port or they will not be recognized. If you laptop does not have COM 4 just see what COM ports are listed before you plug in your cable and notice the new port that will appear when you have it plugged in! That is the one you want to select. HTH.
I also tried this mod on two Evo 8´s following instructions to the letter but I get around 17.xx AFR logged all the time and it varies very little around that valued, if I lower the formula with +8 or whatever it lowers the AFR logged but still doesn´t reflect the gauge at all and just varies close to the initial value.
There must be some additional setting up to do or confirm it´s done in order to make this work, the "how to" seems to only work for a lucky few.
Really hope someone figures out what is missing in the instructions and shares it.

I'm having a rough time as well. I have a 9 motor swapped in my 8 chassis. I've decided to do my splicing by the secondary O2 harness as I have no passenger seat so its easy access. The only wire that gives me a sweeping output is the blue wire (O2 sensor side/white on ECU side) but the figure I'm getting is alot richer and doesn't seem to follow the same scale as my gauge. I've tried roughly every formula I could find to no avail.
