Question is something wrong?

this has been bugging me.

so i tuned a friend's car. originally he had a 20g of sorts, bolt ons, stock cams, stock pump, 93 oct @ 22-23 psi. after trying to dial in AFRs at the top end but not being able to because the stock pump couldnt keep up, i left the timing curve where it was from the last tune he got from an unmentioned source. i think i may have retarded a degree or two. he hit full load at around 5500 rpms.

he finally got a walboro installed this past week and we went out to do some more tuning last night. this time i was able to dial in AFRs, richened to 12.5ish at peak load and richening it out some more to about 11.0 at 7500 rpms. the timing pulled down to 4 degrees at peak load and ramped it up to 14 degrees up top. the logs showed no knock. sometimes one at midrange without timing being pulled. this time peak load hits around 4500 rpms.

although the VDR shows the powerband slightly shifting to the left, and HP figures not dropping off nearly as much, the numbers are slightly less.

here is the VDR with vehicle weight of 3370 lbs (2005 SSL), occupant weights accounted for, as well as tire size.

attached is the log for this. wideband was logged via ECU but the numbers are a little off so i just went with gauge readings.

any insight would be great.
