I think my ECU is toast...

Ok so one day i went to start the car and is was idling like ****, anyways long story short im geting codes p0335 and p0340. I replaced both sensors (crank an cam), check all wires. Now on the crank sensor part of the signal wire was exposed and i think it was grounding out to the motor. So this is making me think that the ecu is bad. Both sensors are new, they get power and the wires are good. Now how can i test my ecu to see if its bad?

If the crank position sensor is not tied up correctly, the belts will chew it up and cause a short. I don't think that circuit is protected by a fuse, so a damaged ecu is a likely scenario. I have read about it a lot on club3g.com.

I plugged back in my 3g ecu and it didnt throw any codes but as its not compatible with ecuflash, it would run for ****. Given it never through the code for bad cat when i put in a test pipe and the evo ecu did. If that means anything.
