Logging/Tuning Issues

Tonight I went out to try to retune my best friend's Evo8(03) on the 94170715 rom and noticed a few issues. This is a fresh from scratch tune as we had already gotten a safe tune for it done in the 95* heat of last summer. First a run down on the car's modifications:

BC272s
AMS Intercooler and piping kit
AEM Short Intake
HKS downpipe
HKS Hi-Power Catback
3" Testpipe
Tubular Manifold (Possibly Borla)
Megan o2 housing
Blitz Electronic Boost Controller set for 22psi
Edit: Walbro 255 (I forgot about the pump last night)

Now on to the issues:
The first issue I came across was that Evoscan seems to be logging at about 1/4 the speed that it does in my Evo8(03 as well) running the same settings. On 3rd gear pulls I'm only getting about 4-5 lines of log at 100% throttle from mid 2k range all the way to 7k.

Looped into issue one is issue two. I've noticed in both cars that since having switched to 94170715, the log doesn't pick up when the car actually goes wide-open throttle until about 1-1.5k RPM later. This is causing more headaches on both cars than I'd like to admit.

Issue three has to do with his car not richening the AFR after adjusting the AFR map. After making the first pull, we noticed that his car was running in the high 13s. I adjusted his fuel map have an 8.7 AFR on the fuel map and we made another pull. After this pull, AFRs were still lean until he left off the gas at which point the AFR hit low 12s from low-mid 13s in the previous cell. Even at that low 12 AFR, we're only seeing 70% IDC.

This car is a bit of an oddity to me. Thecar was professionally tuned here in northern VA and only put down 235ish whp at 19psi on a mustang with the a for mentioned mods. With 22psi on the stock MAF scaling, he's only seeing 230-240 load.

We switched to the new v7 rom to see if the greater resolution we were using would help with tuning out the occasional knock he was experiencing right after WOT on his previous rom. As well, he also stated that in the past few weeks of him driving the car, he had been noticing that the knock light has been coming on more frequently in every-day driving situations.

I'm having him run some seafoam through the fuel to see if it will resolve issue three. Beyond this, I'm at a loss.

Update: Ran his car again tonight, tuned his MAF. MAF needed to be scaled +7%, so I doubt that the MAF scaling is the source of the lean condition. I'm beginning to wonder if his walbro is on it's way out.

try upgrading the fuel pump to a 255 ,boost leaks, check fuel trims ltft low n mid seeing that the air passage is upgraded, i hope the car isnt driving around in the 12.x afr at wot... also to add 230-240 load @ 22psi doesnt seem odd.

Oh, I left off that the car already has the Walbro 255 in it. The owner isn't doing WOT pulls on it unless we're tuning. I'll be tuning the MAF tonight most likely.

Ok in addition to the fuel supply check the filters.. and is this all on stock injectors? Make sure evoscan and the rom are using the same injector scaling (I made that mistake once haha)

Yeah, he's still on stock injectors. I'm going to swap his stock pump back into the car to see if that makes a difference with the fueling issues. I might try swapping my ECU and 680 injectors into his car if the fuel pump swap doesn't do anything. If it comes to that, I'm hoping to see if the swapping of the ECU will allow his car to log faster.
