Tuning bc 280s

I read in the ams cam test that the bc cams were 3-5deg off or something, what adv/retard timing are you running on BC 280s? Also were they a ***** to get to idle good?

I would suggest you degree these cams correctly and not just take someone else's settings as your own. I have not personally tuned any car with these cams in it, so i can't speak about the idle.

My experience with these cams is DSM only, but they killed spool dramatically on an Evo3, made less power than the FP2, and required 8-10* less timing in some spots because of "knock" and other issues.

To put the spool loss in perspective we are talking on the order of 900 rpm.
