Evo9 Gsr Ralliart rom boost drop ?

Hello,

I have a problem with my Evo9 Gsr JDM my car is hitting 25psi from 4000rpm to 6000rpm boots starts to drop very fast from 6100rpm to 7200rpm ?? At 6500rpm my car is already at 22psi and at 7000rpm at 20psi does any one no why it is doing this ??

I have a 20G uprated turbo so it is not stock it is rated that it flows 32psi. Also I mapped my rom and it has no knock I dont have an AFR to read fuel with ECU flash but I have HKS AFR in my EVO I should have a LC1 on next week so I can log with evoscan. This might be the problem at 6000rpm my injector duty is at 90% and at 7000rpm it is 105% I still have stock injectors JDM are scaled at 542.

In my ralliart rom the boost limit is set at 319 from factory so I do not think that limits are the problem also I am using an HKS EVC so far it is very good I have no boost leaking out boot and load mach up almost perfect. Boost and load also drop identical from 6000rpm 24 psi load 242 to 7000rpm 20psi load 218

If you're running an EBC and your WGDC maxed out and still tappering off up top, I'd say you've reached the limit of your turbo. That or your boost gauge is showing 5 psi less than it should

I have logged boots with evoscan I have JDM 3 bar map sensor so boost reading is ok I guess. My turbo is a Tomei M7960 20G so it should be imposable for the turbo to be maxed of at 25psi.

I do not think its showing 5psi less also because as boost drops my load drops with it.

I was thinking that my injectors are to small does any one agree with me ???

I have stock injectors running at 90% at 6000RPM and 105% at 7000RPM

Check what your IDCs are in the log. What is your boost control settings?

like I said my IDC is 90 at 6000RPM and 105 at 7000RPM its seem to get higher and boost drops fast.

My boost setting is 26psi I also have a warning set at 28psi but I am no were in that range.

HKS EVC has a max boost of 35psi.

What actuator is on it? If it's adjustable you may need to adjust the tension. Also I'd suggest fitting an adjustable FPR and raise the fuel pressure

The actuator came with the turbo It also is not stock. next week I will have the LC1 on my car so if it's running lean I will know. If I am lean will the boots still try to hit 24psi ?? or is the fuel not the reason I am loosing boost ?? for example if I am lean my car will still hit 24psi but I will blow a piston.

The boost will hold regardless of fuel ratio

as evonut270 said, you may need to pretension your wastegate actuator by half a hole. AFR wont effect your boost
