Tactrix not flashing/reading - bad fuse?

last night my cigarette lighter stopped working (was using it to charge laptop while logging) and noticed the ODOmeter backlight also hard to read (light went out).

today i replaced the cigarette lighter fuse (under steering column) that had blown and now that works. ODO backlight still not working and i also noticed i can't flash the ecu with ecuflash anymore, its saying it's not getting a response and timing out...i have only had that response when the ignition wasn't switched to on when trying to flash. evoscan on the OBDII connector still works tho.

might there be a fuse somewhere other than under the steering column/engine bay fuse box that i could check since the rest of the fuses look fine when i checked?

it was the unit. nothing damaged of burnt out, just didn't want to write to the ecu anymore.

i wonder if they are programmed to flash only a certain amount of times.
