Few DTC's clear question
Few DTC's clear question
Hey all.
First of all I must say, that in my Colt I don't have all Evo - sensors (without them car works great - see in sign this car), so I have still and still displayed few DTC's codes, which are coming back every time after clear.
P0037 - rear o2 heater ?
P0462 - fuel level sensor
P0441 - evap ?
P0183 - fuel tank temp
P0443 EVAP System Purge Control Valve circuit.
P0446 EVAP System Vent Control.
P0090 - fuel pressure
Now: can I just disable circuits, that are responsable for this codes in perihery settings ?
I don't have:
- rear o2
- fuel level sensor (I have stock Colt sensor)
- evap and egr (they are removed)
Thanks !

Up
I just set up my hex periphery 2 as 0001 and all DTC's are just disapeared. I hope it is safe for my engine
Now I have only one DTC: P0183, so my question is: can I change FDA bit 11 to 0 ?
This is very important for me...

In theory that should work. Try it out. You can always change it back/it's not gonna fry anything.
It seems like it disables all the fuel sending stuff. I am not sure if the ECU compensates for fuel temps or levels (I doubt levels).
Make sure to monitor your tune.

It takes some experimenting and/or searching sometimes.
What ECU/ROM are you using?
