having the same problem here.

I am running an 88591715 V7 SD rom on the EDM Ecu.
Since we doest have the Fuel level senders attached to the ecu, this error will show up every engine start.
wiring in the senders doesnt solve that, because the EDM Ecu doesnt have these pins connected inside. ( reading is always 0 , i tried that, Pins 95 and 97 )
If anybody from the ECu Gurus has an option to patch that ( so that the routine for emmisions read half full all the time ) that would be perfect

I traced down the ECU Pins 97 and 95 ( USDM Fuel level inputs )
In the EDM Ecu ( 88840013 - 17 ) the 2 pins are open.
There are missing a few parts ( have the ECUs side by side )
Its actual an resistor and some caps. so i will try to figure that out, so we can modding EDM Ecus to an static Fuel level so the Ecu is happy.

it would be much easier to have an patch to make that by software ( its only a different pointer to an fixed address, so no big deal.

Steffen

I just wonder why it wont turned off by setting FDA bit 11 to 0 ?

maybe its an separate bit for the 462 and 463 Cel´s ( which isnt found until now )
Since nobody run´s an USDM map at an edm Ecu, it isnt a high priority issue

Maybe you can wire in some resistors, that would keep ecu happy (2,5V at pin)?

Thats what i will try, but i have to tracedown the board a bit more.

The USDM Ecu has a few Chips, resistors, Caps more than the edm.
I dont want to fry the ECU.

What i found is: The EDM Ecu with 88591715 is giving back with MUT 88 app.0.06 volts at idle and app 1 Volt when outside the Idle.

So, since the software is USDM, there should be always a 0.0xx at the Processor pin and reading should be match that.
The reading is maybe an different source on the Board itself or an other pin feeding the voltage by a solder joint.

Best solution would be an 88841717 working version, so we do not lost the GearBox temp sensor ;-)

I am not a coder, but i am an electronics specialist and Engine Builder.
I will find a solution to get it run as i want it.
