connecting a wideband instead of rear o2

i'm willing to disconnect my rear o2 completely and connect a lc1 instead. is it a bad idea to use narrowband o2 12v+ and ground wires to power lc1? if yes, why? i think this way we could eliminate the whole hassle of getting to ECU.

I believe the wires that go to the rear 02 do not have a constant 12v+, the ECU turns it on and off which is NOT ideal for a wideband.
