Sure, as long as you have the scaling for the sensor.

That's a bit of over kill for the 5 bar what's the point of it??You should just use the 4 bar.

Not when your looking to make alot of power. AEM uses a 5 bar and so do the dsmlink guys whats so bad about using a 5 bar on the stock ecu. im sure others have done it already.

Yes, with the proper scaling the 5 bar can be used with SD on the V7 Tephra ROM's. I'm guessing the OP already has a 5 bar and wants to use it.

4 bar is good for 44 psi on boost lol. Not many people run that much anyway.

Searching is your friend Originally developed for diiirk@AWD so they could run 48psi on their drag car earlier this year. Helped MAP get theirs going too so they could use it to make 1100+whp. This is a proven setup on the stock ECU, 2010 was a great year

Ok since no one in the V7 threads will answer me, has anyone verified which, if any of those settings in that link will work with the V7 SD ROMs?

I am interested in the answer to this too. I have been looking at different SD MapVE setting and it looks like the values used in Schiedes thread are for the JDM 3 bar. The reason I think that those setting are for the JDM map sensor is because I just downloaded a fresh rom and the MapVE scaling were completely different from the original SD rom that I downloaded.

It seems that the roms are currently set up for the Omni 4 bar now, can anyone verify this?

Edit----------------

So I just downloaded a fresh SD96531706 and compared it to the rom that I am currently working on and noticed that the scalings are different. It specifies that the 94171715 roms are set up for the Omni 4bar but it doesn't specify that the 96531706 SD rom is set up for the Omni 4bar.

The bottom MapVe scalings are what im working on and I don't think that I changed anything on the left hand side. The MapVe on top is a fresh rom that I just downloaded.

Edit------------------------------
So i got the scalings figured out but now my 80 Load% is showing 0-1psi of boost and my 90 Load% is showing 2-3 psi of boost. Now if I can figure out how to get those areas to move over to the right to the 100 Load% I will be good to go.

Hey I remember reading something that the AEM 5 bar sensor is the same as the Kavlico 5 bar sensor. I remember reading it on here. I would cross reference the part number to see if they are the same.

I tried the Kavlico scalings and it didn't work either. I played with it for hours and eventually gave up, took it out and ordered an Omni 4 bar for now. She ran and drove, but it threw my tune off load, and ran like crap no matter what changes I made. It seems like once it's scaled correctly its a good sensor to use, but the high cost of installation coupled with the difficulty in scaling for SD made it not worth my time. I think if one of you figures it out, it would be awesome to post exactly what settings worked and how to implement them. I ran across a ton of these posts about the AEM 5 bar but nobody really had any answers.
