Load Increase

Getting my hta green today, tomorrow is my b day couldnt be better timing! Anyway right now on the stock IX turbo I am seeing load from 230-250 at wot. How far out do i need to adjust my maps to have a starting point for the green, how much will load increase?

Any advice or pointers where to start would be great, thanks guys.

I have no idea what I'm talking about and I did not make my own map

but I can tell you I see 273.6->238.8 load1byte during a 4th gear "virtual dyno" acceleration
on what is apparently a tephrav7 they put on my car, the map I was told is "soft" I don't know much I'm new in this, read my 1st ecu only a few weeks ago

gsc s1-green hta-24psi on european 98octane gas

You've got an IX so that means your load should be scaled out to 300%.
I would say start off with actuator pressure first as a baseline and see how far out you are...after that you can start increasing boost and be able to determine how far out you need to rescale if you have to.

It is the stock wastegate which I believe is about 11.5 psi. Is it safe to be doing wot pulls at the same boost pressure(22 psi) that I was running on the stock turbo? I just need a starting point and know how high of load cells I will be hitting to begin.

22psi on the stock turbo and 22psi on the green may not/probably won't be the same load, that's why you should start off with lower boost and work your way up.

Should I start with my current map, on 18 psi and work my way up? I guess my real question is, before i do my first wot pull with the green up to what load should the map be tuned? Right now 300 load at any rpm is -1* of timing. This is my fail safe because on the stock turbo with my setup and altitude, 300 load would mean something is wrong...

I'm not an expert, but that's sounds safe enough to me. 1 degree of retard should be plenty safe even if you go beyond 300 load.

setting the green to 2-3psi lower than you current boost setting MIGHT throw you in a similar load @ peak tq .. idk about the load vs rpm path though.

So can anyone comment on what load they are seeing in logs with an HTA green. Do I need to rescale my maps to over 300 load?

seriously it depends on boost ... you not going to jump over 300load under 25psi if your only at 230ish on a 9 turbo..
also difrent i/c, intakes, altitudes may effect someones load so just asking for a general load from a specific turbo wont realy help. set your boost cut to 300 your boost to 20 or wg boost and do a pull. look at it and just start to figure roughly every 10-20 load is a psi . i cleaned my maf and went from seeing 290 load to seeing 270 @ peak .. just to show you how things can change.

Great input, I was just looking for a starting point, but that makes sense...

Well did a quick 3rd gear pull today @ 18psi. Spiked 230 load and held 220 until 5750 rpm(I was being a little scared, first pull on the new turbo) Everything looked good, afr's in check and nice timing curve, time to crank up the boost a bit! On a side note that I probably should have asked first, is there a break in period or procedure for a new turbo?
