when You say about timing, You mean peak timing or redline timing ? Where are these 10* ?

It was peak timing, about 7k as I recall. I dont have the log in front of me but it should be on my lappy still (never throw anything away) so I will find the log and post it for that dyno sheet.

Bump to a really interesting thread! Any info Aaron on finding your log?

Also, when you guys talk about MBT.. does it stay the same (as an ideal value) through out the higher rpm range, say 5000 to 8000 rpm?

I also noticed my car was friendlier to more timing when I installed the Magnus V5 cast IM. Is it possible to relate how close one can get to MBT to Airflow Hz or other logged parameter?

For example I´m runing 18* at 7500 rpm with a 1740 Hz airflow and load of 200, this is with stock turbo at around 21 -20 psi coming down from a peak of 26 psi. A near stock Evo V RS around 7500 rpm has about 14 psi with 160 load, 21 - 22* timing and 1400 Hz airflow +/- . This is 3erd gear for both.

I know that higher boost means higher airflow and lower timing on a given setup, but it would be nice narrow down a little more the timing being run vs the airflow or other parameter directly related to power.

Cheers,

Ricardo
