96530706 Boost issue

ok, after long searches, I feel quite alone to have this problem. 9417 has difficulties on this topic but not 96530706 AFAIK.

While tuning my boost with this rom and a 3 port GM BCS, it came up to me that the WGDC the ecu "asks" in 3 gear where in fact the "2 gear" values in the rom.

So I log GEAR and RPM_SPEED_RATIO_AVERAGE (using the xml provided for evoscan in the V7 thread).
The RPM / SPEED values were good (compared to the settings in the RPM SPEED to GEAR table), but the GEAR record was not.

In fact, while driving in gear 1 or 2, GEAR show 1. It shows "2" on 3rd gear, and then "3" on 4th and 5th gears.
I tried to lower the ratios in the rom but it's still the same issue.

Rom and xml is the one provided in the V7 thread post #2
the car is a EUDM evo VI, with 04 USDM VIII ecu and 96530706 rom.
MUT 40, 42 and 43 are 8447, 8448 and 8449.

I tried to search and I also did many log / reflash with no success, maybe it's deeper in the code

EDIT

I found some elements but it's still not clear to me.
ECUflash is set rpm/ mph
evoscan is rpm/ kph, I've modified it in rpm/mph (not re logged yet), but I can't understand why it wouldn't work in the rom, because I use the "standard" rpm/speed values in the V7.

0 6
43 5
62 4
85 3
117 2
176 1
2900 0

I can "convert" my logged rpm/kph in rpm/mph and it gives the same values as in the rom table.

I'll try any suggestion

My thought is the tephra ROMs are for cars in USDM or EDM markets, and perhaps the JDM cars need diffrent RPM/MPH setting, I'm just trying the RPM/MPH multiplied by 0.62 as I have a similar issue on my JDM VII

In fact I was logging and using rpm/mph, no issue here.

My rpm/speed ratio average value were a little bit off, now with the average logged values it's fixed.
