Innability to choose year make and model after clicking read from ECu

The window that pops up directly after clicking read from ecu is blank!! I cannot choose my car. Any Ideas? I have read from my ECU before but I didnt save my HEX correctly, now when I try, I just get a blank box with no choice of vehicles!! Please help!!!

I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling ecuflash, if that doesnt work if you need help we can setup a remote session and ill log into your computer and fix it. its probably something stupid. As long as it only takes 5minutes i dont mind helping.

Yeah I've uninstalled and re installed numerous times with no luck... Talk about frustrating. I'll let you know. I'm going to try one more thing. Thanks for the offer, greatly appreciated. I will be in contact.

EcuFlash cant find the relevant read templates.
Just copy all the Mitsu read template files into the directory where your ROM hex and xml files are located and it will probably find them.

Windows 7 has some pretty interesting directory security when your not running an application as admin. Try running the program as administrator and see if it helps.

This also seems to happen in vista.

If your on XP I have no idea.

Yes it does it on XP sometimes too, never figured out why, so I always just copy the read templates across anyway.
I thought the bug might have gone away with the later releases, it would seem not.
