Try and let the car idle for about 5-10 mkns and try again, my car had a similar issue and it's bcuz the battery was low, once you hook up, engage Ecuflash and upload rom file and Ecuflash will automaticlly turn you engine off. It worked for me and that came from a reputable shop as well

I do believe Ecuflash works off of at least 12v and the higher the better, good luck man

Looks like the read_evo xml is in a different folder to the one you have specified in the amls folder options. The read xmls are in a read templates folder which is usually in C:\Program Files \OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata or C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata for Win 7. You need that folder and it's contents copied to the path for the rest of your xmls.

If you screw up too bad, you can try to re-install ecuflash. that will restore all the XML files to their original state. If you have modified any of the XML files, you can copy the modified files on top of the fresh re-installed ecuflash to restore the settings for your car.

Wow, I havent seen this before, this might sound stupid but what did you do last in Ecuflash that you might have changed since the last time you ran it, or is this the first time you've used it?? (No pun intended)

I might be wrong but it might have died on you or you made it a brick,

Do you have an OBD2 auto scanner too hook it up too just to attempt to reach the ecu and see if it is responding correctly,

Are your previous rom files saved as hex files or XML
