ECU based boost control question
I just received my Grimmspeed BCS, and am now attempting to tune my boost (v7) map.
I read all the threads related to it, and got most of it figured out, but I do have one question, at least one now. I'm hitting ~22psi right now, but will be targetting 25-26psi once I have it completed. The issue I'm having right now is at about half throttle the boost controller feels like it's opening the wastegate, then closing it, but doing so slowly so it feels like the car is surging (not to be mistaken for turbo surge). What table would cause this?
Also, I'm really to push full boost at all times, when at full throttle, so I'm thinking of keeping my wgdc universal throughout the rev range and all gears (changing it to prevent overboost as required), but using the wgdc vs tps modifier to prevent the turbo surging I get with my blitz ebc. This sound feasible, or am I a tard?
