Ok well i have read the how to convert and tephra posts but when i download and unzip it and put them in the folders they ask i cant seem to upload the map. It comes up with rom info and that's it. Doesn't show anything else. If someone could help me out. Maybe send me theirs and ill edit off that that would be appreciated.

It's a 2003 usdm evo 8 and both 9417, and 9653 both do same thing. If someone can give me a hand i would appreciated it.

Not sure I understand what u are getting, you need to unzip the file I sent you(XML) and put it into your rommetadata file in ECU Flash, then open the bin file and edit it based on your MODs. hope this helps.

 

I cant seem to get the maps to load up on ecu flash. It only comes up with rom info. I cant get it to load any map at all. only comes up with rom info.

 

Are you editing the rommetdata file in ecuflash? I use a program called crimson editor and it works great.

You'll have to add the tephra version to the program and you can use the editor to modify the rom like add new options.

So unzip the file, drag the tephra rom into the rommetdata file from ecuflash and give it a try. If you try to open the rom without adding it to ecuflash rommetdata file, it wont open it

 

the bin file or xml? xml reads as typed, and cant get the bin to go in.

 

the xml file from tephra goes into the ecuflash rommetadata file

C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo

here is an example of the link to get to the rommetadata depending on where on your computer you installed

the bin file is the actual rom that ecuflash opens for you to modify

 

I cant open the file for ecufash. It comes up with rom info only. do i copy my setting from the xml into that file then upload?

 

Do you have the base 9653... xml in the rommeta data file?

 

yes i have all the files. 9653 and 9417's

 

It comes up as set up rom. either abort or use definition below and the rom isnt there.

i have everyhting installed and my definition onto programfile......evo...
still nothing i cant the rom, id car year but thats it
cant see details of the rom it self im using 1.43 of ecuflash
