Quick question regarding EVO 8 ecu hardware vs software?
Is there any hardware difference in an 03, 04 or 05 ecu or is the only difference the rom?
I'm still learning all of this but say if I have an 05 car with an 03 ecu, would I just flash my 05 rom and it would be the same as stock?

Yes you can flash any Evo 8 ROM into any Evo 8 ECU.
