help with boost spiking

Recently upgraded to a GT35R and tial wastegate and I am having some issues with Boost Spiking to 27psi and tapering to 22psi. I have kept the stock 2 port solenoid, boost lines with stock pill and kept all turbo tables exactly as they come from factory using 90550001. I was hoping to keep boost around the same pressure as the stock turbo, short of buying an EBC could I lower the Max Wastegate Duty #1,2 & 3 in the 4500rpm & up tables from 100 to 90 for example to reduce the boost spike. Or any other ideas to control peak boost without having to upgrade to a Tephra rom would be greatly appreciated. I dont want to increase boost just control the spike? thanks

lower the duty cycle before peak boost. Keep it @ 100% to "spool" the turbo, but ~ 1000 rpm before peak boost lower (taper) it to what it needs to give you the boost your lookin for...

I would recommend getting a 3-port, and tuning your curve properly. Not sure why you would want to run the stock turbo settings for a 35r, but...
To be honest, on a 35r, 27 psi on pump sounds good to me...
W/ a 3-port you will have the ability to run much more, and hold much more boost...
