Going very lean up top Lots of knock tephra v7

Ok I just switched back to a stock ix turbo from a 6262 and I switched to tephra v7 with speed density. I keep getting lots of knock during spool up 15-25 counts that i can not get to go away, I have adjusted fuel and timing. It is also going very lean around 4500 rpms it leans out to 15.0 and I have tried adjusting my rpm ve tables and my map sensor ve calibration table and nothing seems to help. Any ideas on where to start?

Have you checked mechanical issues? FPR vacuum line?

the first thing I checked was that vacuum line, and everything seems to be good.

Sorry to thread jack but I have a similar issue. All is fine till about 4k when it goes very lean, im running tephra v7 with SD 2.0 if that makes any difference. Anyone have any ideas as to what could cause this problem? Assuming all mechanical components have already been ruled out.

whats your AFR during spoolup? if its a built motor it might just be a noise. once you have the timing and AFRs in check you might be able to adjust the knock sensitivity tables. PLEASE do some reserach before jumping into it.

im thinking its phantom knock. we have this problem alot on 10's also that when the timing below 100 load on the high octane map is different than the timing on the low octane map, and it causes some type of phantom knock. so basically we just copy everything 100 and below on the high octane map, and paste it on the low octane map, and it solves the problem

I was thinking the same thing and even tried doing that with my low octane map, but I just loaded an older tephra rom (not v7) and the car runs amazing. No low rpm knock, doesn't try to die on take off ect. So the problem is my V7 rom. Im not sure what the problem is with V7 but if someone is willing to look at my rom I would really appreciate it.
