Are you talking about evoscan or ecuflash?

Evoscan is a diagnostic tool which tells you what is happening, it should work all the time no matter what you are doing. But I have heard of G sensors in laptops freezing the computer when doing high power pulls.

you are talking about the g sensors inside laptop hard drives. you can disable this in windows settings. it is designed to protect the spinning hdd during drops of the laptop.

The latest EvoScan now buffers data for 30 seconds at a time, so it only writes logs to disk less often, so this minimizes the effects of this now.
