Injector Maf Scaling Help

Hey guys, I recently purchased a Used 03 Evo 8. Lightly modded. ARC induction box, Evo 9 turbo, Full 3" Catless TBE, with o2 dump. AEM WideBand(not yet setup for logging) and AEM tru boost. I am also running the New tephra mods v7 rom. only thing set up is a rev limiter on it.

Ive been logging lately. And ive noticed that my Fuel trims are way out of wack. idle LTFT is maxing out, And i believe because of this i'm receiving knock transitioning from closed to open loop. I think the solution from what ive been reading is to rescale my maf. and i found this handy webpage created by someone on the evox forums.

http://www.tunerstools.com/mafcal.php

but unfortunately i cant seem to get it to give me the correct results i need to input into my ecu.

If anyone could help me or point me in the right direction. that would be great! thanks.

to my knowledge yes. the stock rom wasnt edited for bigger injectors. Is it easy to tell if i go sneak a peak at them?

Yes it is really easy to spot if they are stock or not. Look for stickers or etching on the injectors. Or you can look in your tune to see if they are scaled correctly if they are aftermarket or if the fuel map looks out of wack from improper scaling.

They look stock, they have the pink top like stock ones do. no stickers or anything to indicate they were swapped out.

The fuel trims are so far from where they should be that it does seem like injectors were upgraded but not scaled properly. From the mods Snow has it doesn't seem like the MAF would need this much adjustment.

What are the injectors scaled to in the rom?

The only time you really need to scale a MAF is if you are having issues when going to a larger stroker engine. Read up on the injector scaling and latency thread A LOT. It takes time and can be a PITA. Look at your intake tube, is it stock? If not that can throw off trims.

Thanks for the input. I have an ARC induction box. but the tube from the MAF to turbo is the same crappy plastic stock one. I just don't know why i should have to scale my injectors when there still stock. I feel like its sort of just a band aid to whatever the real problem is. I also live in Vermont. So its below 30 out most days at the moment. Ive also checked my FPR and it seems to be function normally. No gas coming out of the vacuum and the idle changes when the vac line is removed. The only thing with that is that is right where my Boost gauge is tapped. But I'm assuming thats normal.
