Exclamation DSMs in need of CeddyMods development improvements

Ceddy started a project to get ecuflash to work on the DSM's and he did a great job but support and development has stopped and its in high demand. I'm here on behalf of the DSMtuners community looking for someone to take over where Ceddy left off so that I ecuflashing will keep moving foward to a better product.

If those who work on this stuff would like to help out and we can figure out a plan to not let this die and keep the DSM Ecuflash a working project again.

Heres what we can so far here

First flash DSM ecu faq

CeddyMod V1 DSMtuners

LMK guys

Thanks

I would love to see Ceddy Mods devoloped further. I use his stuff on my 2g. I enjoy using what he has provided but honestly if its not developed further I'm going to just switch to an evo8 ecu in the 2g. What do we need to do to get this in forward progress again? I'm down to help anyway I can.

Is there some way Tephra could add support for the 98-99 roms?

Tephra hasn't done any H8 work that I know of.
Now that he is doing EvoX stuff I doubt it.

98 GSX here, would love Ceddy to come back, or someone else to carry on with the roms.

Which pin are you using?

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/arti...re-colors.html

I know that Richard from Aquamist would like to know this is possible.

He makes pinouts for connecting his kits to ECUs, like these from the EVO

Pin #44 from memory. It's just a switched ground which determines what map is activated.

Benja, any idea what maps it changes to?

I saw this for the Evo 6

The following maps are switched:

Injector Size
High Octane Fuel Map
Low Octane Fuel Map
High Octane Ignition Map
Low Octane Ignition Map
Boost Desired Engine Load
Base WasteGate Duty

But some of the maps are useful yet to the DSM if I understand right.

I am another fan of the CeddyMods ROM for the Evo5-6, so much so that I am writing a special tuning guide for the Evo5-6 using this ROM, along the lines of the other Merlin tuning guides..

It is about 80% done, but progress has been slow these last few months due to other work and commitments.

I feel dsm's would gain a great amount of support if someone developed the H8 ECUs further.

Side question. Can someone pm me or post up how they get Load to log in evoscan while connected to a H8/Dsm ecu? I have everything logging except 1byte load and 2byte. I haven't found what MUT tables to adjust.

Thanks
