Couple quick simple questions about tuning and logging

Question 1: when looking for load how do I determine how much load I am using. What I've done in the past is look at what RPM I'm in and how much timing I'm using in my excel log to determine where abouts I am with load. That really only works with timing sine the fuel maps use more repetitive numbers. I figure im in the 260 range but not 100% sure. So my question is, is how do I log Load or how can I figure out how much load I am using with the rpms to get more accurate numbers and figure out which cell I'm using when tuning?

Question 2: how to use the map tracer in evoscan. I've seen pictures of other peoples high octane maps for example and it will place dots or bars throughout their run to show what cells they are in rpm vs load. how do I do this? Or is this just something they added on?

Thanks.

Click the map tracer bar, load the log you want to have traced.. Right click bottom greyed out area, click load rom. Load a copy of the rom that is currently on your ecu. That will also answer question 1.

Are you using a tephra rom? If so just log 1 byte load. I would just use your excel spread sheet from your log that way you are seeing your actual load cells instead of an average.

I am not using a tephra mod. Just the stock rom

If I remember correctly you need to log load calc on a standard rom.
