its easy to convert.

just copy everything from your current ROm to the V7 ROM.

For your fuel and Ign tables, use the available big map translator

cheers

Download the file from the V7 thread, extract the files and copy the .xml file to your rommetadata file folder and the .bin file to your Ecuflash file folder and your done, then copy your maps over to the new ones.

okay so i just downloaded Option 1 96530706 (v7) rom and now all i have to do is copy this v7 .xml file to my 93660005 rom and and walla this will be done?
thats how it works?

do i have to delete the current rom file that i have and then paste the new v7 rom over it or should i just paste it?

i downloaded tephra v7 and also i extracted the files, but the thing that confuses me is i dont have the 96530706 file i use 93660005 for my rom...when i go into rommdata-mitsubishi-evo and see all the roms i dont see 96530706 on there...

can i delete my 93660005 rom data and just paste the 96530706 data there and rename it?

ok i finally did it!!!

thanks guys alot!!

just one more question though, how do i take my current fuel and timing maps to my new tephra v7 rom?

and also it says in the v7 download thread ''Set Immob. HEX to 0x0040 (check to make sure your old ROM was the same)''

how do i check it my old rom doesnt have the immob. HEX option?

and lastly how do i change my immobilizer code at current it just says 0000 i need to change it to fe03?

To add hex you need to hit the "=" button on your keyboard and then enter 0xfe03 to enter hexadecimal number.

You can copy the immobilizer code from your rom to make it easier, just highlight the code then hit copy and then paste to the new rom.
