help me tune for e85
My car currently has a tune for 93 octane. Id like to tune it for e85. Suppose able the ecu on it already has a professional e85 tune how can i check if it does? Im new to ecu flash so what do i exactly do?
If i download tephrav7 will that over write my pump tune or how do i save it just incase i dont get it down? Any help would be appreciated.
I have pte 1000cc injectors inter cooler piping ams bfmic walbro 255 cosworth m2 cams aem 3" intake 3"o2 housing with a 3" catless exhaust. It is a evo 9 as well.
Anyone have any base e85 tunes for injector scaling etc?

Download Tephra V7 and upload all the XML files into you ecu flash rom metadata folder.

if your car does in fact already have an e85 tune and a 93 tune then you probably already have tephra. search altmaps and find out how to switch between the 2. if you find out that works then i would still have a tuner check out the e85 map before you run it just to be safe.
A couple things.
First, to see (& save) your current tune, read it with EcuFlash. If you need help in reviewing it or what not, I can help you. Just email your ROM to me.
Next, yes, if you just go and load a V7 ROM to your ecu, you will lose your current tuned ROM (unless you read it and saved it before loading the new ROM)
Last, there is no "base" tunes. In the Evo world, most all tunes are custom and we dont really have "off the shelf" tunes.
