When I use my stationary rev limiter with launch maps on my 8858 I climb slowly to the fuel cut RPM then it stops fuel cutting and jumps to redline all before I get to 100 percent throttle

is it because of the increase in timing that happens at that particular moment? I have 17% tps to switch to launch maps. which I try to use to start building boost early.

 

Do you have the clutch pedal depressed so the upper clutch switch is activated?

Yup it starts rev limiting for a few seconds and then comes off on its own for some reason before i hit full throttle. i bring it up slowly. Stock launch settings work fine I was trying to build a little more than 6-7 though.
