New battery rich idle help

Put in a new battery now car is rich at idle l. 11.5-12.5
If I turn the AC on it idles at 14.7. I've suspected the battery being bad for a while and have been tuning the car (for the first time) 1000 cc inj and m2 cams.
Again, everything has been good until today.
Only Other thing I can think of is the temp outside was a little warmer today but its been this warm out once or twice before.

Maybe your latency table was reading lower numbers due to a weaker battery? Once you put in the new battery it was hitting the correct cell? Just a thought.

changing the battery will reset all your fuel trims. let it sit for 20 min on idle till the LTFT Low trim sorts itself out.

Once done, log LTFT Low to see what % you get and either up/down the latency to get as close to 0% as possible. if it is already +/-5% then you dont need to do anything.

cheers

My impression was that it has been running. Good call.

My betters went bad and now it looks like my alternator is going bad
My trims are now off. I did adjust the latency and its better but now I need to replace the alternator and see how it does
