how do i read my rom image, i bought a new laptop as old one got damaged, i had all my maps and logs in that, now i downloaded ecuflash and downloaded my cars rom, but how do i read it?

i also dont remember what rom id it was....

when i open my rom image it says "unknown rom image"

everytime i open the rom it says "cannot read rom image", and when i go into ecuflash folders, its not there!

is there another way?

 

After you've read it, you need to save it somewhere on your computer.

It says "cannot read rom image" because you don't have the correct xml definition for the rom you're trying to open.

now what do i do with it...
