evoscan not reading external wide band
Need more info to try and help.
How do you have it wired into laptop? USB to serial convertor, etc?
There are other options I believe you have to check to get it to communicate also.
I had mine hooked up through a convertor and didn't have many issues getting it to work.

Check all your connections on the serial output to make sure no wires have come loose as well as the connection to the wb. Also check that the ground is still tight and on a good location. Most times with something electrical that once worked, but has ceased to do so now, is a loose wire.
do you have a gauge too? Is the gauge reading good?
I have hard time to make work mine, it was because the com port was not working good, bad driver issue... You can see in the configuration panel state of your com port, it may be there but write that is not working good...
In the evoscan, in the WB02 option in the menu, you have select de good com port channel?
