quick baud rate question

My quick question is I am running a 88590015 rom. The Baud rate for MUT is set to 25000 and evoscan is defaulted to 15625 so I pulled up a virgin 88590015 rom that has never been touched by anyone and it also is set to 25000. So can I run Evoscan at 25000? I have noticed that logging is somewhat choppy but not terrible. Taking away the "log to screen" on evoscan helped dramatically but if I can run at a baudrate of 25000 that would basically double the samples in the log. It would appear here that I am taking 7 to 8 samples per second unless I am reading this log wrong. Is that good? Seems like during spool up everything is happening so fast I would need a lot more "per second" samples to get accurate logs and charts to work from.
