Looks very mild, should be a good start but your likely hitting very low timing at peak load, 3700rpm 320 load (-4,-3 degrees). Also could use some smoothing in the low rpm/ 100-140 load area.
Are you tuning the car yourself?

1 degree peak load ramp from there then you'll have to blend and smooth things in. That's a better base to start. Evo viii takes more timing than my ix due to lack of mivec. 1* is a better number tha negative values.

- select and copy your 240-260 load columns to your 290-310 load,
- smooth out the transition from 230load to your new 310load, you may find using horizontal interpolation useful
- select your 280 load column and copy it to the rest of the columns (320-350 load)

That should give you a nice start for 93+ octane. Work out your map from here, watch your knock sum.

Here is an example of map I was running on my 2.3l+stock turbo hitting up to 300 load, tapering to 210-ish.

your timimg is not aggressive at all....and your getting knock because your prob rich in the area you are getting knock on.

You should post up a log on evoscan

and you WILL hit lower load points with a stock turbo because it doesnt hold boost well after 6500+ rpms where as a big turbo would.

That is up to you. Which way you like best. Both ways need carefull logging and tuning.

If my map can help you and you want to use it as a starting point - feel free to use it, but use it on your own risk. I've tuned it myself and been driving for more then half a year without any issues. However all cars are different, gas quality differs too. It may be to agressive for your application and cause knock or may be just what you need if your setup and gas are similar to mine.

Let me know if I can help you any more.

I was hitting 300 load only. you may copy 300 load timing to higher load collumns. and start your tune from that point.

as for AFR - you should disable lean spool and use wideband for AFR tuning.

Check your PM.
