Black puff

Hello everyone,
My ride is an evo 9 EDM 2006, equipped with a full BBK turbo, M2 cpsworth cams and 1000 CC PTE injectors.
ROM : 88840017
Fuel type: 95 RON
I'm suffering from a puff of black smoke on acceleration (I hate black smoke)
Scaling, latency and map are attached.
I tried several parameters in latency and scaling (790, 812, 835) but in vain.
As you can see now I have the fuel trim positif and still the black smoke is there ....

The table "accelerator enrichment" is greyed out. Do you think that this parameter if it can be adjusted willl affect the black smoke?
Or do I have to replace the injectors with smaller cc ? (what size do you suggest?)

Please advise.

Thanks in advance

What is your air-fuel ratio when in boost? If you don't have a catalytic converter, you will have black smoke, simple as that. You can't fix it by changing scalings, latencies, accel enrich, etc.

With the actual setting the AFR is equal to the map. For testing I've set the AFR to 11.5 throughout the rev rev range and from 120 load and the measured AFR is 11.5.
And yes I have the fujitsubo cat less exhaust.
As I understand from you that I can't get ride of the black smoke even if I fit smaller injectors.

No, using smaller injectors won't change anything because they will still have to squirt the same amount of fuel for a given amount of air entering the engine.

The only thing you can do is re-install a catalytic converter.

The following are step one when you have a problem.
Compression test
boost leak test
fuel pressure test
conservative tune
fresh correctly gapped plugs
It might be injector related or other issues. Maybe one injector is spraying more then the others or a few are not working correctly. Remember your AFR's are an average of 4 cylinders. Do a run and then shut the engine off. Check the color of the plugs for differences. You could also have a compression problem on one cylinder.

Also any aftermarket injector will never work as well as stock injector. All of them basically cut the head of a Bosch injector and change it. This results in less fuel control when the injector is opening/closing. If you look at most injector tests they spray well and then at the end of the test a droplet of fuel comes out.
T1 had Bosch develop a true performance injector called the ID1300. Its extremely expensive but alot of people believe that it performs better . Hope this helps
