Long story short I ended up with a pretty clipped together Evo IX. The car was stripped, all the issues were sorted and was prepped for rally. In the process we decided to make our lives a little easier first season, we back dated the car to an Evo VIII.

I am now in the process of getting the ecu setup, I'm not sure of what I need to change to make everything happy. I know for sure the fuel and timing maps, but i'm not sure if anything else needs to be changed, i.e mivec?

It's the best way to go about it (works the same for the 9 ECU as the auto ECU).
