flashing without car

Hey guys can you tell me if and how its possible to connect my openport 2.0 to my uninstalled ecu?
A friend of mine wants his evo back to stock and asked me if i could flash a stock rom on it, problem is i have no time and want to do it at home.
So what is needet to built a harness?

You have to build a harness that powers up the ecu, has the OBD II connector and init connector all wired in with correct power and ground etc. If you google bench flash harness you will see some examples.

As the other poster said, it will take less time to go to your friends car.

Yes i found some pics, i also have an obd port and a old engine harness but i need to figure out which cables to connect....

Download the factory service manual and look in the electrical section. It shows what wires connect where. I don't think there is any step by step instruction anywhere though, but it is pretty easy to work out.
