Hey guys new to the forum,

Got my first evo not too long ago having an issue with idleing it seems to not as serious as everyones else mine sometimes idles 2k but goes as low as 500rpm i took the icv out gave it a good clean put it back in and it worked fine for about 2 days then it started doing it again i noticed the next time i went to take a look at it it only had two screws in it so i put a third one in and it worked took it on a run for about 30 mins and worked fine got home turned it off and on again and low and behold it started shuddering and idling at 500rpm i went to the icv and took the harness off the back with all the wires and stayed shuddering i put it back in and it worked it went bak up to 1500rpm and stayed like that so i took the harness off again and it was fine. Im confused surely if i took the wire harness off it it should work right???

 

Mine would just hang at 2k. I had boost leaks and I just replaced my iac. I got the iac from amazon. After the boost leaks were fixed and a new iac, it ran just fine.
