I've been tuning Evos for many years now, but never tuned an X before & I'm about to tune my first one & I have some basic questions:
The car is a stock 2008 6speed sst, USDM, Rom id 52690019
Can the ECU be flashed normally like older Evos?
Is there Tephra mods rom for the above ID?
Would you recommend using an MBC to control boost?
Is there a way to flash/modify gearbox ratios?

I've extracted the rom & it seems clear enough as other evos' I just need to do some reading about x mivec tuning.
At the bottom, the rom induces a patch sub-menu & it has a "Mitsu CAN RAM Parameter logging" box, I'm not sure what is that?

I'd appreciate any tips

Thank you Vishwar, I think I need to join evoxforums to get some answers. I'm kind of disappointed that I got like 175 views without any answers to some basic questions!
To my understanding, the rom version I mentioned is common, can I at least know that the ECU can be flashed normally using a Tactrix 2.0 like any previous generation Evo?

 

If you have to ask those questions then I would say you aren't ready yet
