Quick question...just trying to test my knock sensor. I have it pulled out of the block. I've read (not sure if it was on this forum or not) that if it's hooked up and you tap it, it should produce count. I tried this and I got no count. Should I be looking for an increase in voltage instead?

ive seen cars with up to 4 volts knock 2 points

and cars with .9 volt knock 3 points
