Interesting stuff on the "accel" and "decel" maps. So sounds like one is basically not used but we make them the same just incase maybe.. Would really be nice to know what the Pmap really does. Seems that one is pretty unknown. Wonder if I try and change it dramatically if I'll see a can log a difference in pressure. Its unfortunate to not have a proper definition though because at this point its just guessing.
I would also like to know if we're missing tables in the XML when trying to make all the maps the same to know if there are some missing to effect the results in me trying to change one at a time.
Exactly right, one table set is not used...ever, unless you change pin 50. In the past we just made them the same because we never really knew. But I proved it about a month ago. As I mentioned, pin 50 is a configuration setting, so I wouldn't go changing it (because it also changes a lot of other code to to with ABS and AYC settings)...but you can use it to work out what "set" of maps to tune.
It would be really nice to know exactly what P map does. It can dramatically effect steering feel (light/heavy), but yeah, id suggest go small, not big. Reducing the values helps. I have two theories what it's for, either a target body posture setting, or, a ratio changer between the feedback control section and the feedforward control section. Keep an eye on the break thru thread for more developments.
Bringing this thread back... has anyone had real success with different ACD map tunes? Anyone have any maps they can share that have been tested to work with the stock rear diff (no re-stacking plates) that would be good for Autox?

No, the rear diff matters significantly more than the center. Fix that first.

So I restacked my rear diff now and experimented with Merlins ACD tune. Tested it out and it does rotate the rear. Is there any shared tunes to try? Or is it only 3 people that you have to ship your ACD in to flash it?
In Merlins tune, are the 3 modes increasing or decreasing in rwd oversteer type behavior? I am trying to understand the higher vs lower numbers in the tables.
Yes - earlier ACD lock up on acceleration sends more torque to the rear diff, causing it to lock up sooner and the car behaves more like an AWD vehicle should
Can you show us your snow and tarmac A maps so we can see how you are achieving this?
My snow A map locks up harder and earlier in throttle application than my tarmac A map
Hello, pls we are building a 1 to 1 replica of an EVO for a si-racing game. Do you have by any chance the stock maps for ACD/ AYC?
